～ヵ月後という表現で、in 〇 months' time という表現も見たことがあるのですが、このtimeというのは必ず付けないといけないのでしょうか？
また、in 〇 months' timeは、3か月後と訳しても、3か月以内にとも訳せるのでしょうか？違いはありますか？

「3か月後にNZに行きます」を英語にすると、I will go to New Zealand in three monthsになります。three monthsとthree months timeの違いは特にないと思いますが、紹介した文章の方が使われていると思います。3か月以内はまた別の表現になり、within the next three monthsになります。
