現在に至っているって英語でなんて言うの？
「こうした活動の多くに日本は参加や支援して現在に至っている。」
という文を訳したいのですが、「現在に至っている。」はどのように表現すればよろしいでしょうか。
Japan have participated and supported most of these activities until today.
としてみましたが、しっくり来ません。

→"Such are many of the activities in which Japan has taken part and supported. For these reasons, we are where we are today."
("For these reasons"の代わりに、"Because of that"とも言えると思います）
