  • (I think) It's still chilly at night.

I think it's still chilly at night.

It still gets chilly at night=夜はまだ肌寒いよ Chilly=肌寒い 勿論「寒い」のであればColdと表現しましょう。 It's actually pretty cold at night=それが実は夜は結構寒いんだよね 「意外でしょ!」

まだ still ちょっと a bit (a little でもOKです) 夜は at night です。

  • It's fast approaching summertime but you may need to wrap up in the evening.

  • It's late spring and there's a nip in the air at night.

1. To wrap up = put on (or dress someone in) warm clothes. "You should wrap up warm these chilly evenings." "Wrap up well before you go into that garden." 2. A nip in the air = a feeling of cold: A "How are you today, Brian?" B "Not too bad, but my arthritis is giving me trouble there’s a real nip in the air this morning." A "Well keep wrapped up and stay indoors - that's my best advice."
1. To wrap up = 暖かい服を着る "You should wrap up warm these chilly evenings." "Wrap up well before you go into that garden." 2. A nip in the air = a feeling of cold:(寒く感じる) A "How are you today, Brian?" B "Not too bad, but my arthritis is giving me trouble there’s a real nip in the air this morning." A "Well keep wrapped up and stay indoors - that's my best advice."

  • It's early Summer but you still need to wrap up warm at night

The first statement is precise and does not need any further elucidation. It means that even though the season is changing into Summer, it is still cold at night. In the second statement, you add to say: you still need to wrap up warm at night, meaning you still need to wear warm clothing at night because it still gets cold. It is still chilly at night. You may also say: Even though Winter is almost over, you still need to wrap up warm at night because it still gets chilly.
You still need to wrap up warm at night Even though Winter is almost over, you still need to wrap up warm at night because it still gets chilly.

  • Although it's almost summer the air is crisp at night.

  • The air is still cool although it's almost summer.

In English we sometimes use the words crisp and cool to describe that the weather is slightly cold. We usually use these words to describe that the weather is invigorating and feels good. We would not want to use these words to describe the type of weather we experience during the winter time.

We can use the words, "it's still chilly," and that, "it still gets cold at night," interchangeably to still mean the same thing. In addition we can switch the sentence structure around using the conjunction, "even though."
