国籍とアイデンティティは違う。って英語でなんて言うの？

「国籍」は英語でnationality（発音は「ナショナリティー」）と言います。そして「アイデンティティ」のスペルはidentityとなります。なお「国籍とアイデンティティは違う。」を直訳したらNationality and identity are different. となり、間違った言い方ではないのですが、nationalityやidentityなどの概念が違うと言いたい時は「A and B are two different things」という言い方をよく使います。 Nationality and identity are two different things. 国籍とアイデンティティは違う。 また、ニュアンスは少し違いますが、A does not necessarily equal B （A必ずイコールBとは限らない）という言い方もあります。「A=Bの時はあるが、必ずそうとは限らない」というニュアンスです。 Nationality does not necessarily equal identity. 国籍とアイデンティティは必ず同じとは限らない。
