I feel like the place someone lives affects the way they come across. 「影響される」は be influenced by が素直です。もう少し自然に「形づくられる」感じを出すなら shape（形作る）を使います。 また「性格」は personality、「雰囲気」は vibe / overall vibe / energy / the way someone comes across（人がどう見えるか・どう伝わるか）が便利です。
