原作よりアニメ（で見る方が）が好きって英語でなんて言うの？

I prefer watching the animated version rather than reading the original when it comes to comic books. So I usually wait for them. （漫画に関しては、原作の本よりアニメ化されたものを見るものが好きです。なので、普段はそれ（アニメ化されたもの）を待ちます。） 〜の方が好き、はpreferで表すのがシンプルだと思います。 ちなみに、実写ならlive actionです。参考になれば幸いです。

I prefer the anime to the original. I like the anime adaptation more than the original work. I’m more into the anime than the source material. I prefer watching it to reading it. I’ll wait until it gets an anime adaptation. I’ll wait for the anime version to come out. I’m going to wait until it’s animated. 「原作よりアニメ（で見る方が）が好き」は、英語では “prefer A to B” を使うのが一番すっきりします。 A が「好きな方」、B が「比べられている方」です。
