（スラングで）寝落ちって英語でなんて言うの？

「寝落ち」という単語は英語でもよく使うスラングがあります。
「doze off」や「nod off」といいます。あとは「siesta」と言えますが、スラングではないですが、「寝落ち」を表します。

例文：
The students dozed off within the first 5 minutes of class.
「生徒たちは授業の始めの5分以内に寝落ちした」

We were talking and he just nodded off out of nowhere.
「話中、彼はいきなり寝落ちした。」

I always take a siesta after eating lunch.
「昼ご飯を食べ終わったら、昼寝する」

「寝落ち」はスラングで
to drift off
to crash
を使って表現できます。

例：
I drifted off in the middle of a phone conversation with my friend last night.
「昨夜友達との電話の最中に寝落ちした」
in the middle of a phone conversation with ... で「…との電話の会話の最中に」

I crashed part way through a phone call with my friend last night.
「昨夜友達との電話の途中で寝落ちした」
part way through a phone call with ... で「…との電話の途中で」
