What is the difference between these sentences?
Is there a slight difference between them?

I went to school on that day. の on はあっても間違いではないですが、なくても良いです。
なので、I went to school on that day. も I went to school that day. も意味は同じです。

例：
 That day we met at work was my first day at the company.
「職場で私たちが会ったあの日が、私がその会社で働き始めた初日だった」
