上記のフレーズの主語は自分なので、「私は」=「I」を使います。
「and so」もあればもっと自然になると思います。「だから」と言う意味がありますから、この状況ではとても良い言い方です。
因みに、この場合ではレジは二つの意味があります。英語では「register」と「checkout」になります。
