〇〇を好む理由って英語でなんて言うの？

The reason why it's favorite の日本語は \"それを好む理由\" のような感じでしょうか？またit'sのところに人物の名前を入れたいのですが、その場合はThe reason why (人の名前) is (a) favorite となりますか？isの後ろにa は必要ですか？
