誤った単語＝wrong wordsでも通じると思いますが、words that you didn't mean (言おうとした・言うつもりのなかった単語）の方が分かりやすいと思います。
意に反して、は直訳的にagainst your willとかになりますが、

You lose control over x abilityのような表現の方がよく使われています。
例えば、
