  "the 〇〇 department" 管轄が当たる署を分かているならこう言います。「〜の署」

もっと丁寧な言い方にはこちらです。
"I'm afraid we don't know as it is not under our jurisdiction. You will need to check with the 〇〇 department and they should be able to help you."
"I'm afraid ~" 「残念ながら」
"we don't know" 「わかりません」
"as it is not under our jurisdiction" 「この署で管轄の範囲でないなので」
"you will need to ~" 「〜しなければなれない」
"check with ~" 「〜に確認する」
"〇〇 department" 「〇〇署」
