「今週は仕事ばかりやっていたよ」はこのように言えます:
I was just working all week.
I was only doing work all week.
「仕事をする」は動詞としてworkまたはdo workです。
「ばかり」はjustまたはonlyになります。
all weekは「一週間中」という意味です。
「~していた」は、過去進行形のパターンのwas/were ~ingを使います。

If you say that a person is slaving over something or is slaving for someone, you mean that they are working very hard.

"I have been slaving away at work all week."この一週間まるで奴隷のように働いている。
誰かのために奴隷のように一生懸命働いているという意味。
例"When you're busy all day the last thing you want to do is spend hours slaving over a hot stove"一日中忙しいとき、絶対嫌なのは奴隷のようにあくせく働いてばかりいることだ。slaving over a hot stoveで、一生懸命あくせく働くという意味です。slaving away と同じ意味で使えます。
