"How have you been this last week?"

  • I was just working all week.

  • I was only doing work all week.

I was just working all week. I was only doing work all week. I was just working all week and couldn't do anything else at all. I was only doing work all week and I got home late every night.

  • ① I've been busy all week with work

「今週ずーっと仕事で忙しかったよ」を英語にするなら: 「① I've been busy all week with work」で始めます。 他に何もできなかったなら: 「① I've been busy all week with work, so I haven't had any free time」 帰るのが遅かったら: 「① I've been busy all week with work, so I've been getting home late」 ジュリアン

1. You state you have been really busy. 2. You state you have been really busy at work. 3. You state you have too much work to handle. "How's life?" "Totally snowed under."
"How's life?" "Totally snowed under."

  • I have been busy all week with work.

  • I'm good, but I've been so busy with work all week.

When someone asks "How have you been doing?" and you want to express that you have been busy with work, you can say, "I'm good, but I've been so busy with work all week."
と聞かれて、「仕事でずっと忙しかった」と言いたい時は: "I'm good, but I've been so busy with work all week."

  • I have been swamped with work all week.

  • I've had a lot on my plate at work .

  • I have been slaving away at work all week.

"I have been swamped with work all week." This means you have had a lot of work to do at work and have had an excessive amount of tasks to get through. e.g "The country was swamped with goods from abroad" "I've had a lot on my plate at work ." This means to have a lot of work to do or a lot of problems to deal with. e.g "I don't want to burden my daughter with my problems; she's got enough on her plate with her husband in prison. Simon can't take on any more work. He's got his plate full as it is." "I have been slaving away at work all week." If you say that a person is slaving over something or is slaving for someone, you mean that they are working very hard. e.g . "When you're busy all day the last thing you want to do is spend hours slaving over a hot stove"
"I have been swamped with work all week." 例 "The country was swamped with goods from abroad"その国は、海外からのものであふれていた "I've had a lot on my plate at work ." 例 "I don't want to burden my daughter with my problems; 娘には自分の問題でわずらわせたくないの。she's got enough on her plate with her husband in prison. Simon can't take on any more work. He's got his plate full as it is." もういっぱいいっぱいだよ "I have been slaving away at work all week." When you're busy all day the last thing you want to do is spend hours slaving over a hot stove"一日中忙しいとき、絶対嫌なのは奴隷のようにあくせく働いてばかりいることだ。
