４年生は4th gradeで伝わると思うのですが、分母が６であることを伝えるにはどう言えばいいのでしょうか。

実はこれはすごく多い間違いなのですが
基本「4th grade」は確かに4年生ですが小学校の4年生になります。
よって大学なのであれば
4th year in University
もしくは
4th year in 6 year school
となります。
ちなみに4年制大学は
Freshman
Sophomore
Junior
Senior
となります。

4年生は fourth-year student です。
アメリカでは大学1年から4年まで、freshman, sophomore, junior, seniorといった呼び名がありますが、イギリスでは使いません。
また、日本と違い、大学に何年制というのは基本的にありません。
単位が取れれば3年で学士号を取れたりしますし、逆に4年以上かかる人もいます。
なので、I have 2 more years（あと2年あります）という言い方をすることで、今4年生であと2年残っている（つまり全部で6年）ということが伝わります。
