ーThat was an order from the boss.
「それは上司からの命令です」
order で「命令」
ーThe boss was the one who decided to do that.
「上司がそれをするのを決めました」
ーThat was the boss's call.
「それは上司の指示です」
call で「要請・依頼・指示」などの意味があります。
