to get bored で「飽きる」
monotonous work「単調な作業」＝「単純作業」と言えます。
ーI got sick and tired of doing that awful repetitive work.
「つまらない単純作業にうんざりした」
to get sick and tired of .... で「…にうんざりする・飽き飽きする」
単純作業は多くの場合、繰り返し同じことをする作業でもあるので、その場合は repetitive work「繰り返しの・反復的な作業」=「単純作業」とも言えます。
