lifelessやsoullessで表現できますね。
例えば、
His eyes were lifeless *超疲れている、何にも関心がない感じ
His eyes were soulless *人間性もない感じ
彼の目が生気がなかった
ブチ切れるは「lose one's temper」で表現できます。
例えば、
He lost his temper when she lied to him
彼は彼女に嘘をつかれてブチギレてた
The employee lost her temper after the customer made several unreasonable complaints
店員(女)は客さんに何回も理不尽な文句言われてブチギレてた

ーHe only seems half alive.

ーHe tends to snap at people for no good reason.
