「get in touch with」で、連絡を取り合う、接触する、という意味があります。
「電話する」っていう単語は出てこなくても、前後の出来事から手段は判断できますね。
ちなみに、似たようなフレーズで「keep in touch with」っていうのがあります。こちらは連絡を「保つ」ニュアンスが強いです。
"I'll call you in a few" and you could also add "minutes" to it, unless you want to call them back in a few "hours"
You could also just say "I'll call you soon" or "I'll call you in a little bit" to express that the wait time will not be too long.
"I will contact you shortly" is a more polite expression that can be used with clients, authority, or people that you want to sound "businessy" with.
You wouldn't use this expression with family, friends, or even your online teacher(if you want to keep a casual/friendly relationship with them).
一時間かからないのなら、I'll call you in a fewに、minutesを足してもいいですね。
I'll call you soonやI'll call you in a little bitということで、そんなに待ち時間なくかけなおすという意味にすることができます。
I will contact you shortlyは丁寧な表現で、顧客対応や上司など目上の人に使う言い方です。
これらは家族や友達には使いません。
オンラインの講師の人とカジュアルな関係なら、その人に対しても使いませんね。

- If in case, the student is busy and unable to accept the teacher's call, this sentence will be appropriate.

- もし「今忙しくて先生の電話に出られない」という状況なら、この文が適切でしょう。
