to end up not ~ing で「〜することにはならない」
ーI didn't drink too much liquor at that restaurant because they charge too much.
「レストランは代金を取りすぎるので、そこではあまりお酒を飲まなかった」
to charge too much で「（支払い・代金を）請求しすぎる」
