この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

ーThe last company I worked for was considering introducing robots to their workplace.
「前の職場ではロボットを導入することを検討していた」
to consider「検討する」
too introduce robots「ロボットを導入する」

ーThe company where I used to work was thinking of bringing in robots to our factory.
「以前働いていた会社では、工場にロボットを導入することを検討していた」
to think of「検討する」
to bring in robots「ロボットを導入する」
