whole the lesson で終始の意味があると伺いしまたが、最初から最後までと強調したい場合はbeginning to end で宜しいでしょうか？
You have done such a thorough job teaching me from the beginning of this lesson until the end.
「最初から最後まで」を言いたいなら次のように言うと良いでしょう。
ーYou have done such a thorough job teaching me from the beginning of this lesson until the end.
「レッスンの最初から最後まで、とても丁寧に教えてくれました」
ここの「丁寧に」は polite ではなく thorough を使うと良いですよ。
次のように言うともっと自然な感じになります。
ーYou have done a great job teaching me this whole class.
「このクラス全体を通してとてもよく教えてくれました」
from the beginning of this lesson until the end と言うより this whole class のように言った方が自然です。

「最初から最後まで」と強調したい場合、from beginning to end で間違いありません。ただ、文法的には from を付けて from beginning to end とするのが自然です。
