3時間も掛かったって英語でなんて言うの？

1）I spent three hours choosing a new bag.
2）It took me three hours to choose a new bag.
どちらの文も同じ意味で使えますよ。ただ言い方が違うだけです。

他にも次のような言い方ができます。
ーIt took me three hours to decide what kind of bag I wanted to buy.
「どの鞄を買いたいか決めるのに3時間かかった」
