二本前・二本後の電車って英語でなんて言うの？

「バスがいつもより早く（遅く）駅に着いたので予定より二本前（二本後）の電車に乗った」と言いたいのですが、このとき”二本前”の電車と“二本後”の電車はどのように表現したらいいですか。

この場合、次のような言い方ができます。

ーThe bus arrived at the train station earlier than scheduled, so I was two trains ahead of the train I planed to take. 
「バスが予定より早く着いたので、乗る予定の電車より2本前の電車に乗った」

ーThe bus was late arriving at the train station, so I had to take two trains later than I had hoped to.
「バスが駅に遅れて着いたので、思ってたより2本遅い電車に乗った」
