日本料理って説明が難しいですね。
特に定番の「鍋料理」は、いろんな食材とスープによって、名前も違うので、
一瞬どんな風に説明をしようか考えてしまうところです。
ですが簡単に言うと、「鍋」というのは具材が変われど、「[煮込み](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/64727/)料理」のこと。
煮込み料理は英語的には「stew(シチュー)」を指しますので、
こんな風に表現すると伝わりやすいと思います。
"Nabe" is a (big) Japanese stew.
「鍋料理」は日本の大きな煮込み[料理](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/4548/)のことです。
A Japanese stew called "Nabe".
日本スタイルの煮込み料理のことを「鍋料理」と呼びます。
他には hot pot という英語表現が使われることもあります。
例：

「鍋料理」は日本の鍋料理です。

A hot pot is an East-Asian variety of stew. It consists of a simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table, and several meats, leafy vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, and seafoods sitting around it. hotpot - this dish would be called hotpot. We don't really have hotpot in American culture, so normally we'd just say something like "Japanese hotpot."
For people who aren't familiar with the concept of 'hotpot," you can say something like Japanese "soup" dish, but the best description is "hotpot."
That specific dish looks like a casserole dish. A casserole and a stew are basically the same thing. It is food that is cooked over a fairly low heat for a long time (perhaps a few hours) in a pot with all the ingredients mixed together.

Slow cooker is just another word for a one pan cooker you use it to put all your food in and cook it on a low heat over a long time.

"Slow cooker" は調理鍋の一種で、弱火で長時間煮込む料理に使われます。
