This winter is the same as usual in terms of temperature and weather conditions.
This winter's weather has produced no surprises.
Quite normal = really normal
The same as usual = no changes (from the normal; weather pattern)
To produce a surprise = For something unusual to occur which people did not predict.
Quite normal =
The same as usual =
To produce a surprise =
It's quite usual for this time of year. - This sentence is quite common & can be adapted to the temperature if it is out of the ordinary. "It's quite mild/cooler for this time of year."
Typical! - This is used in a negative sense, when it is a bank/public holiday & you have a day off. "Typical! It always rains on May Day."
Come rain or shine - English idiom meaning whether it rains or not; whatever the weather. "I always make it there on time, come rain or come shine!"
It's quite usual for this time of year.
"It's quite mild/cooler for this time of year."
---------
Typical!
"Typical! It always rains on May Day."
---------
Come rain or shine -「
"I always make it there on time, come rain or come shine!"
expect- when you know something will happen.
"It's as cold as can be expected " - means that you expected it to be cold this winter because it is always cold this time of year.
'another' - in this sentence it refers to something happening again or a repeat of something.
"It's another cold winter this year" means that it is cold again, the same as it was years before.
I hope this helps :)
It’s another cold winter this year”とは例年と同じようにまた寒いことを意味します。
There have been no exceptional adverse weather conditions this winter
There have been no extraordinary cold snaps
Be careful when using the term adverse. There are two words adverse and averse which sound and look similar but they do not have the same meaning. Adverse means ‘unfavourable or harmful’ it is used to describe conditions and effects as in adverse weather conditions. Averse, is used to describe people and means ‘having a strong dislike or opposition to something’, as in I am not averse to helping out. A common error is to mix them up as in he is not adverse to making a profit when it should be he is not averse to making a profit.
Typical means normal or usual
Cold snap means a sudden, brief spell of cold weather.
“Adverse”
“Averse”
He is not averse to making a profit”(彼は利益を上げることを嫌っていない)であるべきところを
”He is not adverse to making a profit”
“Cold snap”

This time year=今シーズンを意味します。

Our weather in January is usually about this rainy.
Most winters in the Hokuriku region are about this snowy.
The winter this year is average The cold this year is average です。

Weather patterns -

1.Winter this year is the same old, same old.
Same old, same old means that it is the usual,
predictable cold winter weather that you
experience every year.
Another example:
How was your weekend? "Same old, same old."
This means that it was very boring and unexciting -
much like every other weekend.
2.Winter this year is much the same like last year.
If something is much the same like something else
then it means that although they are not identical,
there is very little difference between them.
1. Winter this year is the same old, same old.(今年の冬はいつもの冬と変わりませんよ)
"Same old, same old" は「普段と変わらない」という意味です。
2. Winter this year is much the same like last year.(今年の冬は去年の冬と大体同じです)
"much the same like something" は「~とほとんど同じ[ほとんど違いはない]」という意味です。
