犠牲になるって英語でなんて言うの？

「犠牲になる」という英語は様々な表現方法があります。

"fell victim to 〇〇"=〇〇の犠牲になる

"〇〇 took many people's lives" & "〇〇 claimed people's lives"=〇〇が多くの人の命を奪った。

The fire took the lives of 77 people.
＝この火事で77名の命が犠牲になった。

take the lives of ～ で「（主語が）～の命を奪う」となります。

主語に「自然災害」などを入れると
「犠牲になる」に近い意味を表せると思います。
