  • He has a family.

  • He is taken.

  • He is not single.

He has a family. He is taken. (他の人に取られちゃってます) He is not single.

  • He is taken.

  • He's already wed

  • He's someone's husband

  • He's already tied the knot

To tie the knot = to get married: "So when are you two going to tie the knot?" To be wed = to be married "We wed when Tom was 23 and I was 18." "Look at that lovely man standing at the bar! Isn't he wonderful?" "He sure is a nice piece of work! However, I happen to know he's somebody's husband. He tied the knot last year." "Oh dear! All the best men are already taken!"
To tie the knot = to get married:結婚する。 例 "So when are you two going to tie the knot?" To be wed = to be married:結婚する。 例 "We wed when Tom was 23 and I was 18." "Look at that lovely man standing at the bar! Isn't he wonderful?" "He sure is a nice piece of work! However, I happen to know he's somebody's husband. He tied the knot last year." All the best men are already taken!"

  • Spoken for

  • Hitched

  • Taken

If someone is 'spoken for', they are not available for a romantic relationship because they are already having one with someone else. 'Hitch' means to fasten two things together. It was commonly used in the past to describe tying two horses together, or to tie a horse to a carriage. So to be 'hitched' is to become wed to another person and be so close to them everyday that it is like you are fastened together.

example "I was in town today and met someone. He is so lovely, shame he is already taken." or "I met this guy. he is really nice, but he is already hitched." or "There is a guy at work who is totally cool, it is such a shame he is unavailable." the words hitched, taken, unavailable, out of bounds are all ok to use in this context.
"I was in town today and met someone. He is so lovely, shame he is already taken." "I met this guy. he is really nice, but he is already hitched." "There is a guy at work who is totally cool, it is such a shame he is unavailable." hitched, taken, unavailable, out of bounds

  • he's tied the knot

  • He's newly wed

If I said he's newly wed, it means that he got married recently. he's tied the knot = he's married When you tie a knot, 2 pieces of rope are joined together, kind of like a marriage where 2 people become 1 life together.
he's tied the knot =he's married:彼は結婚した。

  • He's spoken for.

  • He's not on the market.

Spoken for' is an old term to express that someone isn't available for a romantic relationship because they're already in one. If someone's 'not on the market', it means that they're already in a rather serious romantic relationship. In this case, a married man isn't 'on the market' because he's already committed to one person.
"not on the market"は「彼/彼女はすでに真剣な恋愛関係にあるよ」という意味です。 "A married man isn’t on the market because he's already committed to one person."

  • You can say that he is wedded or espoused (having a spouse)

  • More informally, you can say that he is hitched, spliced or has tied the knot.

A spouse is someone's - either a man or woman - marital partner. If you hitch something to something else, you attach it to that thing. Therefore two people who are "hitched" are attached to each other. Similarly, if you splice two pieces of rope, you join them together. Tying the knot is joining two pieces of rope or string.

  • he has a wife

  • he is taken already

  • he is in a relationship

saying "he has a wife" lets everybody know that he is married. you could also say that "he is taken already" or "he is in a relationship" all of these three sentences will let them know that he is a married man.
