"how long"や"life span"は花が保つ期間を尋ねるフレーズです。
The only thing that is imp[ortant with flowers is how long they will look good. All picked flowers are dying as soon as they are pluicked from the ground so longevity of appearance then becomes the next prime criteria. You do not want to spend a lot of money on something that will look unsightly in a couple of days.
