BACK TO THE GRINDSTONE!: We say this when we have to restart work or study which
we see as tedious or onerous. It means, 'It's time to resume work (after a break).' Often preceded by 'Oh well.' The phrase probably derives from the expression “keep one's nose to the grindstone,” meaning to be, or force someone else to be, continually engaged in hard and monotonous work, used since around 1830..
To dread something = to feel very worried about something that might happen or something that is going to happen.
"I dread the day she finds out."
Dread doing something:
"She started to dread seeing him."
To worry or feel nervous about something:worry, panic, dread...
To come to an end = we say this when something is approaching the end..like a holiday

最後の例文は "Why oh why!?"で始まっています。 これはなんでこんなことが起こるのか理解できない時に言います。
自分たちにとって不公平で納得いかないようなときですよね。
なんでこんなことが起きているのか問いかけています。

You can also speak sarcastically on social media by using the word "yay!" It conveys sarcasm and shows you are not really excited by the statement being made. For example: Yay! Starting school tomorrow. (eye roll)
