"taste"は「味」と「味わう」の両方の意味を持ちます。
ちなみに答え方としては、"It tastes like ~~"となります。
②How do you make it?
どうやって作るの？
これは料理に限らず使えます。
「どんな味がするの？」のふつうの言い方は、
What does it taste like?
です。これは「どんな味か説明して？」と尋ねているので、その通り
How would you describe its taste?
ということもできます。
「どうやって作るの？」は、料理なので cook を使って
How do you cook it?
でいいですね。

If you want to find out what type of food someone is eating or talking about, you can ask them to describe what the food tastes like,"Can you describe the taste?" or if you want to try to make the food yourself you can ask, "How do you make/prepare this dish?" Most meals should be easy to make but if it seems a little difficult you can ask the person who told you how to make it to help you.
人が食べたり話したりしている食べ物がどんな種類のものかを知りたいのであれば、"Can you describe the taste?"（味を説明して頂けますか？ ）のように食べ物の味を説明するように頼むか、自分自身でその食べ物を作りたいと思うのであれば、 "How do you make/prepare this dish?" （どのようにしてこの料理を作る/準備するのですか）と尋ねることが出来ます。
大部分の食事は作るのが簡単ですが、少し難しそうに思えるのであれば、教えてくれた人に助けてもらうこともできます。
If you want to know what products are used to make the dish, you could ask about the ingredients. If you want to know how to prepare the dish AND what is used to make it, you can ask about the recipe. To try to understand if the dish is similar to another dish, you can ask, 'What's that dish taste like?'
What does it taste like? Do you know how it is prepared?
If you are curious about the taste of a local dish and also want to ask how it is made, you can say something like "How is this made and what does it taste like?". This is kind of a 2-in-1 question whereby you are not only asking what it tastes like, but also HOW it is made.

If something is delicious it means that it is very nice to eat.
*How do you prepare the dish?
This means that you would like to know how the food is prepared. This includes the ingredients that are used to prepare it and the method.

May I have the recipe?
We usually say "dish" we we talk about a plate or bowl of food. When we describe something as "interesting" we are saying that we would like to know more of it. If we ask how something tastes, we would like to know if it is salty, sweet, sour, bitter, bad or delicious! "Recipe" for a certain dish is page with instructions and ingredients that is needed to make the type of food. Usually a recipe is accompanied with a picture to see what is the end result.
