まずは簡単に[自己紹介](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/39421/)願えますか、という決まり文句です。
面接などでもよく使われます。
この、a little bit of ...という言い回しは、婉曲表現の一種です。
日本語でいう「[ちょっと](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/66607/)」とか「簡単に」にあたります。
Can you introduce yourself briefly.
簡単に自己紹介していただけますか。
という言い方もできます。
この場合の "briefly"も、簡単に、軽く、という意味です。
便利なので、覚えておくといいですよ。
自己紹介=introduce myself
あなたのことを教えてくださいということで
tell me about yourselfでも良いですし
一般的にはintroduce yourselfで自己紹介という意味になりますので
Could you introduce yourself?が良く使われるフレーズかと思います。
All of these requests are quite normal in this situation. "Would you please introduce yourself?" is a standard and perfectly clear request. The other two requests are not as precise and leave a little room for the applicant to input whatever may be felt as being significant and appropriate.
このような状況では、上記のフレーズはすべて普通に使えるでしょう。 "Would you please introduce yourself?" 非常に標準的なフレーズです。他の2つのお願いははっきりした自己紹介を要求するものではなく、その場にあった自分の紹介をするようなニュアンスがあります。
A) Tell me a bit about yourself
*Tell-communicate information to someone in spoken or written words.
Example-"I told her you were coming"
*A bit-somewhat; to some extent.
Example-"he came back looking a bit annoyed"
*About-on the subject of; concerning.
Example-"I was thinking about you"
B)Please introduce yourself
*Please-used in polite requests or questions.
Example-"please address letters to the Editor"
*Introduce-bring (something, especially a product, measure, or concept) into use or operation for the first time.
Example-"various new taxes were introduced"

"May you please introduce yourself." - A very formal way of saying this. May you is asking permission and please is being very kind about the situation.
When you say " so tell me about yourself," you are being quite relaxed and informal within a formal setting. This can cause the person that is being interviewed to settle down and become quite relaxed.
"May you please introduce yourself."(自己紹介をしていただけますか)
これは非常に格式張った言い方です。"May you" は相手の許可を求めます。"please" を使って丁寧に尋ねています。
"So tell me about yourself"(自己紹介をしてください)は、砕けた言い方です。このように聞くと、相手も緊張がほぐれるかもしれません。
Through a short introduction, I'd like you to share with me what you are all about.
You can use the sentences above to ask someone to formally introduce themselves, these can also be used in casual, informal settings.
These questions will have the other person share some information about themselves.
I would say, Could you tell me a bit about yourself, please? is more formal, and perhaps more common. However, Tell me something about you, is still good, and would be understood.
Could you tell me a bit about yourself, please?'(自己紹介をしていただけますか)は、よりフォーマルで、たぶんより一般的でもあると思います。
ただ、'Tell me something about you'(自己紹介をしてください)も使えます、これでも伝わりますよ。
If you want to ask an applicant to introduce themselves during an interview, you can say:
"Could you please introduce yourself?"
"Tell me a little about yourself."
面接で応募者に自己紹介をお願いするなら、次のように言えます。

if you would like to ask someone to introduce themselves during an interview with them, you can simply say something like "Please introduce yourself." or "Can you tell us about yourself please?". Both of these are polite ways to express this.

During an interview it's common for the interviewer to ask the interviewee to introduce himself/herself.
Here are some suggested ways to ask the applicant to introduce himself/herself:-

2. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
あなた自身について少し教えてもらえますか
3. Please tell me a little bit about your background.
あなたの経歴について少し教えてください
面接では面接官から自己紹介を求められることが多いですね。
面接で応募者に自己紹介を求めるなら、次の表現が使えます。
1. Please introduce yourself.
自己紹介をお願いします
2. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
あなた自身について少し教えてもらえますか
3. Please tell me a little bit about your background.
あなたの経歴について少し教えてください
We can use these two phrases to talk about the concept of the person or applicant to introduce themselves first. The first example is a question formation version of this to have the introduction more of an invitation.
The second example can more be used as a command and a way to start quickly off with introductions. These are actually two great examples of questions or ways that I might ask my students in some of my lessons as well! :)
"Can you start the interview by introducing yourself to me briefly?"
"Please can you introduce yourself to me please?"
If you were interviewing a potential candidate for a job, and you want to ask the applicant to introduce themselves, you could say any of the following: "Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?", "Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?" or "Please can you introduce yourself to me please?".
