make a suggestion:

'Let's ...." is a popular way of making suggestions:

If this is a different teacher you may use this sentence to inform them where you left off from your last lesson.

When you want to ask your teacher to start a lesson from a certain page because you had left off the previous lesson; then you may say it in the following ways:
-Can we please start from page 4?
-I would like to start the lesson from page 4
前回終わったページからレッスンを始めてもらいたいなら、次のように言えます。
-Can we please start from page 4?（4ページから始めてもらえますか）
-I would like to start the lesson from page 4（4ページから始めてもらいたいです）
to avoid learning something you have already done you might want to start from a certain page so you could ask the teacher 'can we start from page......?'
to begin also means to start ( from the beginning)
同じことを二度学ばないために、特定のページからレッスンを始めるようお願いしたいときがあるかもしれません。
先生に次のように言えます。
'can we start from page......?'（......ページから始めてもいいですか）
'to begin' も 'to start'（始める）という意味です。
If you would like to explain that you want to start from a certain page, from a previous lesson, you can say:
"Can we please start from page five?"
"Can we please continue from where we left off?"
Only use "Can we please continue from where we left off?" if your lesson is with the same tutor.
前回のレッスンの続きのページから始めたいなら、次のように言えます。
"Can we please start from page five?"（5ページから始めてもらえますか）
"Can we please continue from where we left off?"（前回の続きから始めてもらえますか）
"Can we please continue from where we left off?" は、講師が前回と同じだったときにしか使えません。
