When a friend's dreams are laughed at―that is when one must fight!

「仲間」はfriendがいいでしょう。 「笑われる」はbe laughed at, be scorned at, be derided at, be made fun of, be scoffed atなどがあります。
(1)は「仲間の夢が笑われた(be laughed at)時、その時が戦う時だ！」の意です。
(2)は「戦わねばならない、仲間の夢を笑う人（相手）を！」です。
(3)は、「残って戦わねばならない、（君の）仲間の夢がからかわれた時は！」です。butt of a jokeは「からかう対象」です。
また、(2)と(3)の最初のYouは一般論を話しているため、日本語には訳しません。

男にゃあどうしても戦いを避けちゃならねェ時がある。

仲間の夢を笑われた時だ！
英語版では上記の表現になってるみたいですね。
make fun of ～ は「～を馬鹿にする」という意味の表現です。
やっぱり「仲間」とか「避けちゃならねェ」とかのような日本語の、漫画のかっちょいい表現をそのままのニュアンスで訳すのはかなり難しいですね。
漫画に限らずですけど、こういうのは原作の言葉で読みたいですね！やっぱり！
