It is good to use the word no in this context. It not only captures your audience's attention, but this word indicates that they are somehow misinterpreting your actions. In colloquial English the act of filming someone (regardless of the tool utilized) is always described. "To shoot a video" is a very colloquial way of saying that you are taking a video of someone or something. Simple nominative statements are also sufficient in explaining the difference between taking a video instead of a photo.
