Once I learned one thing, I forget another thing.

  • When I learn one thing, I forget one thing.

  • Everytime something new comes into my brain, my brain pushes something out!

  • My brain works like this; A goes out when D comes in!

When I learn one thing, I forget one thing. Everytime something new comes into my brain, my brain pushes something out! My brain works like this; A goes out when D comes in!

  • It goes in one ear and comes out another, I just can't seem to remember anything.

「It goes in one ear and out the other」という諺を使えばいいのではないでしょうか。

  • When I learn something I tend to forget something as well

It's only natural that we can't remember everything and we also tend to remember the things we learnt last as they are new so sometimes we forget older things we have learnt you could explain this by saying ' when i learn soemthing i tend to forget something as well'
'when I learn soemthing I tend to forget something as well' (一つ覚えると一つ忘れてしまいます)

  • I feel when I acquire new knowledge, I also lose knowledge!

  • There's only limited room in my brain so I always forget something when I learn something new!

  • When I learn something new, my brain automatically declutters by forgetting something else!

This theory may or may not be based on scientific fact! Of course the world is full of endless information and we may feel that we should be selective in what we learn or expose ourselves to. If we try to remember everything we experience our brains may well turn into spaghett after a very short time! "John has an incredible ability to remember facts immediately, but his memory is only short term." Declutter = tidy up, put in order
"John has an incredible ability to remember facts immediately, but his memory is only short term."

  • Every time I learn something new, I forget something i had learnt previously

  • When I learn something new It goes in one ear and out the other.

"Every time I learn something new, I forget something I had learnt previously" To 'Previously' learn something is stating the fact that it is the past tense, something you had learnt before. To go "In one ear and out the other" is a very common expression widely used, this usually refers to not being able to remember things, to have a hard time learning and remembering how to complete tasks.
"Every time I learn something new, I forget something I had learnt previously"(新しいことを学ぶ度、前に覚えたことを忘れてしまう) 'Previously' はそれが過去のことであることを示します。 "In one ear and out the other"(片方の耳から入りもう片方の耳から出る)はよく使われる表現です。

I'm feeling discouraged because I seem to forget the last thing I learned when I learn something new. I don't feel like I am making progress because I don't seem to retain what I learn. I just can't seem to remember the previous lesson so I am not learning well. Can you help me with how to remember what I am learning? How can I learn better when I keep forgetting what I learned the last time? I need to find a way to remember the previous lesson when I learn a new one.

  • It appears whenever I learn something new, what I learnt before gets blanked out because I can't remember it.

  • Whenever I gain new knowledge, previously gained knowledge gets blotted out

  • Each time I learn something new, I can't seem to remember something I learnt before.

It has been said that people tend to remember the most recent events quicker than those that occured in the past. This is despite the fact that the brain records everything that it encounters or learns. All that is learnt is saved in a person's memory. However, the latest knowledge that a person gains sits in front of the memory storage and can be remembered quickly. Something that was learnt long ago sits at the back of a person's memory storage and requires a bit more time to be recalled. It then appears as if one has forgotten what he/she learnt before. It sort of gets blotted out or blanked out although it is there. So, you may say: It appears whenever I learn something new, what I learnt before gets blanked out because I can't remember it. or Whenever I gain new knowledge, previously gained knowledge gets blotted out. or Each time I learn something new, I can't seem to remember something I learnt before.
It appears whenever I learn something new, what I learnt before gets blanked out because I can't remember it. (新しいことを学ぶ度に、前に覚えたことを忘れている気がする) Whenever I gain new knowledge, previously gained knowledge gets blotted out. (新しいことを学ぶ度、前に覚えたことを忘れてしまう) Each time I learn something new, I can't seem to remember something I learnt before.

  • When I am learning new things I tend to forget other things I have recently learnt.

  • My brain must be full, I tend to forget things soon as I learn them!

  • I am so forgetful, I have forgotten what I have just learnt, this happens to me everytime!

Sometimes when we are learning a lot of detail in a period of time, we tend to forget other things we have just recently learned. The brain needs more time for learning and it does this through repetition. If one does not make sure to always look over what they have just learned then the brain will release that information and you will 'forget'.
