きちんとやってますかって英語でなんて言うの？

「きちんと」はいろいろな英訳があります。私にとっては一番いいのは「as you should be」「like you're supposed to be」「what you need to (do)」など。
勉強だから「working hard」も合っていると思います。

習い事で自分の息子が「きちんとやってますか？」と聞く場合は、

"Is he doing fine?" / "Is he doing his best?" / "Is he doing what he's supposed to be doing?"

などの表現を使うことが出来ます。

「今日、息子はしっかりとやりましたか？」は、

"Was my son doing fine today?" / "Was my son doing his best today?" / "Was my son doing what he's supposed to be doing?"
