At last! I've been successful with opening the file!
I am now able to open the file, thanks.
Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you very much for cooperating with me and for emailing the attached file to me several times. I was finally successful in opening this file. (After many tries, I have been successful in opening this file or I am now able to open the file and read the contents).
Thanks for your support!
Kind regards,
XXXX
I am sorry I couldn’t open the file before, but now it is working, thank you for sending it.
I was finally able to open the attachment.
Finally
– expresses you had been trying for a whole and it was not working.
If you want to make this more polite you can say something like, “I’m not sure why the file wouldn’t open but finally it is working, thank you for your patience”.
This gets your point across but gives it a polite edge.
I am sorry I couldn’t open the file before, but now it is working, thank you for sending it.
This is similar to above, it is a polite way to express the struggle you had and to thank the person for their time in order to finally get the attachment to work.
I was finally able to open the attachment.
もう少し丁寧な言い方は、“I’m not sure why the file wouldn’t open but finally it is working, thank you for your patience”.
I am sorry I couldn’t open the file before, but now it is working, thank you for sending it.
I finally managed to open the email. Many thanks for your perseverance!
I'd like to thank you for sending the email repeatedly. I have it now!
Sometimes some glitch in the internet or some incompatibility between operating systems or associated software, may mean that some strange things may happen when sending emails. In this case, you may thank the sender by saying something like:
"I finally managed to open the email. Many thanks for your perseverance!" or,
"I'd like to thank you for sending the email repeatedly. I have it now!"
"I finally managed to open the email. Many thanks for your perseverance!" or,
"I'd like to thank you for sending the email repeatedly. I have it now!"
Thank you for your patience, I was able to open it.
I opened it in the end, thank you!
In order to say that you were eventually able to open an attachment to a file and to express gratitude, you can say:
Thanks I finally opened it!
Finally - eventually, in the end.
This is short and polite though a little informal.
I opened it in the end, thank you!
'In the end' - eventually, finally.
Thank you for your patience, I was able to open it.
This phrase is more formal.
Thank you for your patience - You may say this because the person had to send it several times.
I hope that helps!
Thanks I finally opened it!
I opened it in the end, thank you!
'In the end' -
Thank you for your patience, I was able to open it.
Thank you for your patience -
Thank you so much or your ionput & repeated efforts... your persistence paid off!
If at first you don't succeed ...(you are running about average ;-)) Try & try again!
They do say "Persistence wear down resistance":-D we might say thanks like this:
"Thank you so much or your input & repeated efforts... your persistence paid off!"
"Thank you so much or your input & repeated efforts... your persistence paid off!"
Opening the file finally worked for me, thank you!
Within the first two examples we can use the verbs, "to open," or, "to download," when talking about an attachment or a file that one receives in an email. Lastly we can use the gerund, "opening," at the beginning and explain that doing this action, "finally worked for me."

I have succeeded in opening the file.
