副詞（または文脈によっては形容詞）的にはこうした言い方でもよく表現します。
「昼（正午）に／の」はat noonという表現も一般的です。
なお、morning、afternoon、eveningはそれぞれ幅のある時間帯なので前置詞はふつうinを用い、noonは限定的な時間なのでatを使います。
