”I was so busy I forgot to eat!”
”It was already 3pm when I realized.”
I skipped my lunch.
I missed my lunch.
It was already 3pm when I noticed that I'd skipped my lunch.

"I completely forgot about lunch time" is a common phrase, specially with the word "completely" because it implies total or complete forgetfulness since you put the words "completely" and "forgot" right next to eachother.
This expression can be used with anything you forget, for example:
"I completely forgot to brush my teeth"
"I completely forgot to do the laundry"
"I completely forgot to dress up like a dinosaur last halloween"
Also the expression "I was so busy I didn't realize I forgot to eat" works to express that you were simply busy and didn't realize the pass of time. "I didn't realize" means "I didn't notice"
"I completely forgot about lunch time"
"I completely forgot to brush my teeth"
"I completely forgot to do the laundry"
"I completely forgot to dress up like a dinosaur last halloween"
I was so busy I didn't realize I forgot to eatという表現も良いでしょう。
I didn't realizeはI didn't noticeと同義です。
