Can we get up and walk? / Are we free to walk around?- Usually, if you can get up out of your seat and walk around, this means the bathrooms are open for use. Is the toilet light green? Is the toilet still usable even though we have landed?- This is asking whether the toilet can still be used even though the plane has landed and stationary. Can the toilet/restroom still be used?- This is a more simple way of asking the same question above.

May I use the lavatory?" I need to ease my springs, can I use the toilet? - (bit of a joke) 'Ease springs' is a military metaphor which also means use the toilet & if you make them laugh there's a higher chance of them letting you use it. "I need to ease my springs, can I use the toilet?" I'm busting! Can I use the toilet? - This means that you really, really have to go. "I'm busting! Can I use the toilet?" Especially if it's a child they will probably let you. 'Busting' as in about to burst like a water balloon.
