There are a number of phrases that can be used to say that you don't like something. You can say: I don't like - This is a common way of expressing that you don't like something to a mild extent I dislike - This is very similar to the above, it is a mild form of not liking something For example: I don't like potatoes. He disliked my dress. Stronger forms of dislike can be: I hate I can't stand If you can't stand something or someone it means you do not want to be around it for even a second or moment. I hate the colour red. I can't stand it when he lies. When it comes to waiting in line, there are a number of ways to express this: Queuing up Waiting in line Lining up Standing in a queue. British English uses queuing up or standing in a queue more often whereas in American English they often say waiting in line. I hope that helps!
例 "I don't like potatoes." "He disliked my dress." 例 "I hate the color red." "I can't stand it when he lies." "Queuing up" "Waiting in line" "Lining up" "Standing in a queue " イギリス英語では"queuing up"やstanding in a queue "をよくつかい、アメリカ英語ではよく"waiting in line"や"line up"を使います。

Loathe- means to really dislike/hate something. Real Pain- By saying something is a real pain, it is telling the listener your really don't enjoy doing it.
例:I loathe standing in a line. It is a real pain having to queue.

It might be a bit strong to use the word "hate" as the opposite of love (which it is in reality) However there are many synonyms one can turn to: I depise her or him... I cannot stand to be near them... I simply detest all he stands for...they are totally abhorrent.
"I depise her or him..." "I cannot stand to be near them" (私は彼らに近づけないわ。) "I simply detest all he stands for... they are totally abhorrent."

The three sentences you see above are great ways to express that you greatly dislike something. We use the words hate, detest, and loathe to express a great disliking to something. If we simply do not like something or someone we can use the word dislike. I hope these three sentences and the explanation help you out.

Hate is a powerful word. It is strong when you say that you hate a person, or the two countries are at war. You need to be careful when using hate this way. If you tell somebody that you hate them, they may have a strong reaction. Other times, it is a strong dislike, for example, when talking about food: "I hate broccoli". Some synonyms for hate when it is a dislike: I don't like broccoli. I dislike broccoli. I can't stand broccoli. I can't tolerate broccoli.
hate(嫌い)は、強い単語です。 I don't like broccoli. I dislike broccoli. I can't stand broccoli. I can't tolerate broccoli.

I hate raw fish! It’s gross! I don’t like fish very much. hateよりも強くないのが、i don’t like ~です。 I’m not a big fan of fish.

In English there are two expressions that I can think of. If the desire is not as strong, you simply say "I don't like" like, "I don't like waiting in line." This implies that it is not something that you like to do but it is still tolerable. For the stronger feeling, you need to say, "I hate" like "I hate the cold weather!" This sentence implies that you do not like cold weather at all, and would rather be in Okinawa right now than Sapporo.

  • I dislike waiting in line

  • I despise waiting in line

All three expressions are ok in using. " I hate waiting in line" this expression is very common but you must be careful when using it because the word "hate" might be a bit offensive. "I dislike and I despise" are both common and very appropriate to use. These two expressions do not contain any words that might sound offensive so they are a better choice.

Waiting is not my thing"「待つことは苦手」と言えます。
