「着く」は厳密に言うと arrive になりますが、arrive が「到着」の用に少し堅めなニュアンスがあります。The train is arriving （電車が到着します）は言いますが、I will arrive at the station in 30 minutes（あと30分で駅に到着する）は若干不自然です。
その代わりに be there を良く使います。例えば 「あと30分で駅に着く」は I'll be at the station in 30 minutes や I'll be there in 30 minutes と言えます。
