「respect others」で【人を尊敬する】という意味になりますので、
「日本人は一番人を尊敬する」と直訳すると
【Japanese people respect others the most. 】
となりそうです。
しかし、あまりそういった言い方を聞いた事はないので
二番目のオプションとして「Japan is the most polite nation.」
【日本は世界で一番礼儀が良い国だ】としてみました。
Japan is one of the countries around the world that gives respect/regard to others the most.
The country that respects people the most is Japan.
「人を尊敬する」を英語で、"I have a great regard for people". というのは、人はここで、 ”People", と ”Others"両方の意味を含みます。なぜかというと、他人に対する尊敬という意味を表します。
