英語を第一言語とする国って英語でなんて言うの？
英語のネイテイブスピーカーの定義として「英語を第一言語とする国」としていますと広告に書きたい。

「英語を第一言語とする国」、この「第一言語」という言い方はそれこそ、英語圏の国々が一つではないことから地域や国によって異なる場合があります。
”native （母国語の）language"、”primary（主要な） language" 、”first （第一言語の）language" という様々な表現がありますが、どれも意訳しては同じ意味となりますね。
また、「英語を第一言語とする国」→「英語圏の国」と言う場合は、単純に「English-speaking countries」ともまた言えますが、単なる所有格的な表現になってしまいますので「英語」という強調面では弱くなってしまうかもしれませんね。

↑ 文字通りですが、第一言語（first language）が英語の国です。
一般的に、アメリカ、イギリス、カナダ、オーストラリア、ニュージーランドがネイティブとされていますが、他にもアイルランドやジャマイカやシンガポールも英語を第一言語として喋ります（味は違いますが！）。
