I don't like high places where I feel like I'm going to fall.
「〜そうなところ」は英語で「(where) I feel like I'm going to 〜」と言います。
I don't like riding boats, because I feel like I'm going to throw up.
船を乗るのは苦手です。吐きそうになるから。
If I watch that kind of movie, I start to feel like I'm going to cry.
そういう映画を見ると、泣きそうになっちゃう。
Whether it's a high place or not, I don't like to get the feeling of falling off the edge.

ご参考にして頂ける部分があるのではと思いましたので
回答いたします。
お尋ねの、
＞単純に高いところが苦手なのではなくて
＞落ちそうな感じのするところが苦手。
・・・というニュアンスを正確に伝えるには、
Whether it's a high place or not
「それが高い場所かどうかに関わらず」
という構文が有効です。
ex. Whether you're busy or not, 忙しかろうがなかろうが
ex. Whether he wants it or not, 彼がそれを望んでも望まなくても
ex. Whether it's sunny or rainy, 晴れようが雨が降ろうが
【Whether 主語 ＋ 動詞 (＋or not) 】という形です。
また、「～から落ちる」は、fall off ～で、今回は、
～ the feeling of falling off the edge.
「端から落ちる感じ」
としました。
もう少し大げさに言いたい場合は、
～ the feeling of falling off, say, a clif.
「崖から落ちるような感じ」
とも表現できます。
※文中の say は「例えば」「言ってみれば」というニュアンスです
