よく使われるスラングです。downにはおそらく①寝込んでいる②賛成する、と2つ意味があると思います。
1つ目の意味の「寝込んでいる」の用法は、
I am down with flu and high fever and have been so for a week.
「今インフルエンザで熱が出ているんだけど、ここ一週間そんな感じで寝込んでいるんだ。」
2つ目の意味の「賛成する」の用法は、
A: I'm going to Chicago this weekend. Anyone?
「今週末シカゴに行くんだけど、誰か行く？」
B: I'm down for it!
「行く！」
とこんな感じになります。このforは賛成を意味するので覚えておいてください。
