●「～ですが」に相当する英語の表現は数多くあります。例えば、
Regarding, Concerning, With regard to, As for, As to, When it
comes to 等々。
●「例の件」の言い方にもいろいろあります。例えば、
that matter, the matter (that) we (you) have been talking
about, that issue, the issue inquestion 等々
ビジネスで使うことが多い「あの件」
話し手と聞き手に暗黙の了解がある「The」の出番ですね。matterは物理学では物質。つまり「そこに存在するもの」で、ビジネス的には「事を左右する事」ですので、使い方によって、事から問題まで、いろいろと意味を与えられます。
issueは「解決すべき課題」「生じた課題」です。issueは解決出来るもので、その意味で前向きな感じがしますね。
