「会社で○○日に懇親会を開催するのですが、ご参加されますか？」

懇親会は social gathering ですが少し堅苦しい感じになってしまうので
気軽に参加出来そうなライトな表現で get-together が良いと思います。
言わば合流会です。
We are having a get-together on the ○○, so why don't you join?
We are holding a get-together on the ○○, so will you participate?
「懇親会」は英語で get-togetherと言います。月は含めてない時、「○○日に」は on the ○○と言えます。例えば、 I have to leave on the 5th. しかし、月を含める時、the は必要ではありません。例えば、 My flight leaves on May 5th.
「開催」は having か holding を使えます。Holding はもっとビジネス的な言い方ですが、having とあまり変わりません。Join と participate も同じことです。Join はどんなシチュエーションでも利用できます。
