When I talk to myself in English, I do so in second person so I would say "Don't you cry." which sounds like it might be directed towards someone else but I know that I am the one who is both talking and listening. I like speaking that way to myself because it's like there is someone else there to comfort me.
I hope that this helps :)
ですので、 "Don't you cry."
Sometimes you cry and you realise that what you are crying for is really not that important - or not worth your tears. You may utter words of censure or admonishment to yourself in order to snap out of the foolery.
We are often put in situations where we feel like crying however something we really don't want to. Whether that is because we are in the office or on the train, you can say to your self ''don't cry!''.
To pull yourself together means to act normally and be calm. If you feel your emotions getting the better of you, you can tell yourself to ''pull it together''.
When talking to yourself you don't actually say anything you just think it to yourself or say it very quietly to give yourself a shock and snap yourself out of it
The saying 'pull yourself together' means to get over it and go back to being normal and calm
❶ don’t cry (泣かないで)。
❷ hang in there.
Note to self: never give up.
Note to self: Hang in there.
Don't cry (your name), everything will be alright.
Dry your tears (your name), just be strong.
Don't cry (your name). Crying is for the faint-hearted.
If you will be telling yourself not to cry, then it's better to mention your name to inwardly confirm to yourself that you are saying this to yourself and not to somebody else. If you were to say this to your child or your loved one, you might say, 'don't cry my baby' or 'don't cry sweetheart'. Usually, drying one's tears is done when one is done with crying. So, if you tell yourself to 'dry your tears', you are actually saying, 'stop crying'. If you tell yourself that 'crying is for the faint hearted', you are actually telling yourself 'be brave', 'be strong', crying is for cowards and the weak minded.
So, if a certain situation gets you crying, you may say to yourself:
Don't cry (your name), everything will be alright.
or
Dry your tears (your name), just be strong.
or
Don't cry (your name). Crying is for the faint-hearted.
Don't cry (your name), everything will be alright.
Dry your tears (your name), just be strong.
Don't cry (your name). Crying is for the faint-hearted.
Native speakers will say like this: “Don't cry, please”.
There are lots of other ways to say it, but this one is the most accurate and most commonly used.
"Sometimes when life hits you with a brick, don't lose faith!" - which means: when it gets hard, don't give up!!
Here is an example on how to use this in a conversation:
A: Don't cry, please.
B: Please stop crying.

"Sometimes when life hits you with a brick, don't lose faith!"(ときどき人生はレンガであなたの頭をガツンと殴ります。

Life is far from easy, sometimes a good cry is necessary, although, sometimes we feel we need to be strong and not let our tears flow, we might not be in a private setting or we might not be in the right environment to let loose.
We can use the above sentences to say to ourselves when we don't want to cry.
Let loose: to release
