～という状況に陥るって英語でなんて言うの？

to be/to fall into/to get into がよく用いられます。
As you can see, I have been in this situation for over five years.
（ご覧の通り、私はこの状況に陥って５年が経ちます）
I got into this situation a while ago.
（しばらく前にこのような状況に陥りました）
I never expected that I would fall into this situation.
（このような状況に陥ることは予想もしませんでした）

状況に陥る。抜け出せない、には、
be stuck in ;
が使われます。

Situationの後にはwhere を置いて、どういう状況なのかを説明することができます。

例
I am stuck in the situation where I don't know how to get out.
どうやって抜け出せば良いかわからない状況に陥っている。

状況に陥る

上記のように英語で表現することもできます。
situation は「状況」という意味の英語表現です。

例：
I never thought I would get into such a bad situation.
こんな悪い状況に陥るとは思いもしませんでした。
